I took my car to be serviced at Clark's on a whim once because it was within walking distance of my work. My first experience was extremely positive, and I have taken my car there several times since then. Man, am I glad I found them! It's a place where you feel like they remember each of their customers. I'll call in and Justin will ask, "Are you bringing in the Subaru or the Mazda?" :) They have squeezed me in for a quick check on things when I've forgotten to call before heading out of town, and when I do have real car problems, they will always call after making their diagnosis to tell me what they've found and how much it will cost. I've even had them direct me to purchase a part from a dealer myself instead of having them do it because they told me it would be less expensive for me. How often do you find a service station actually TRYING to save their clients money? I told my dad about how great they are and he asked, "Is that the place on 17th and 5th?" "Yes." "I remember them being great even when I was young. A different owner, I'm sure, but still really honest and reliable." The icing on the cake is that they are as green as an auto shop could be. They recycle whatever things they can, they've installed solar panels on their roof--they even have a vegetable and flower garden at the edge of their parking lot instead of rocks or asphalt! I LOVE Clark's Auto and highly recommend them.
