Independent SUBARUrepair & service center

Cheap, local, easy, and hassle free oil change. When the service was done they said "One more thing..." which usually makes me cringe. I braced myself to tell them I don't need a tune up or have my transmission fluid changed. It turns out my brake light was out...and they fixed it for free. Seriously, this is why I deal with locally owned businesses as much as possible.

Clark’s Auto and Tire has servicing my vehicles since 2009. My wife & I own a Subaru, Toyota & a Volkswagen & they all run amazing. I will continue to support Clark’s because they’re affordable, they stand behind their work, they return your vehicle on time, they fix only what needs to be repaired and they put forth a commendable effort on managing their carbon footprint. Our community needs more businesses like Clark's Auto & Tire. Consider giving them a try.

Clark's is the best. I have been going there for 3+ years after a referral from a friend. They do the job well at a reasonable cost and are honest and open about everything. I truly appreciate having a local shop that takes care of their neighbors. Also with any problem outside of their services they have given be such GREAT referrals. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Justin, Al and the rest of the guys over there!

I took my car to be serviced at Clark's on a whim once because it was within walking distance of my work. My first experience was extremely positive, and I have taken my car there several times since then. Man, am I glad I found them! It's a place where you feel like they remember each of their customers. I'll call in and Justin will ask, "Are you bringing in the Subaru or the Mazda?" :) They have squeezed me in for a quick check on things when I've forgotten to call before heading out of town, and when I do have real car problems, they will always call after making their diagnosis to tell me what they've found and how much it will cost. I've even had them direct me to purchase a part from a dealer myself instead of having them do it because they told me it would be less expensive for me. How often do you find a service station actually TRYING to save their clients money? I told my dad about how great they are and he asked, "Is that the place on 17th and 5th?" "Yes." "I remember them being great even when I was young. A different owner, I'm sure, but still really honest and reliable." The icing on the cake is that they are as green as an auto shop could be. They recycle whatever things they can, they've installed solar panels on their roof--they even have a vegetable and flower garden at the edge of their parking lot instead of rocks or asphalt! I LOVE Clark's Auto and highly recommend them.

I was really spoiled back home with an experienced and trustworthy mechanic so when I moved down to Salt Lake I was dreading finding a new one. When I called Clark's they were really helpful in getting me in for an oil change and I was impressed with their customer service and efficiency. They know their stuff and it was comforting having someone experienced looking at my car and not trying to rip me off with unnecessary repairs. I have found my new mechanic! Thank you Clark's!

I walked in today needing an oil change, normally they're by appointment only, but they didn't even hesitate to get my oil change done without an appointment and only a half an hour before they closed. Usually I dread going to get an oil change because of all the things the other places try to convince you that you need along with the oil change. These guys got it done in 25 minutes and for a whole lot cheaper than I expected! I'll be going back for tires :-)

phenomenal. affordable. intelligent. everything was explained clearly and advice received, when measured against the dealership's, was clear, logical, articulate and affordable. thanks, gents, for making our 2003 Exploder feel a little bit healthier.

I've come here several times in the past few years. The first was on recommendation by a friend. Other times for oil/lube maintenance, and now for oil/lube and a rear light replacement. How it was under $40, including that they spent some time to notice my hose for windshield wiper fluid was malfunctioning, and fixing it, blows me away. These guys have proven themselves to be upfront, and I feel like I have an uncle looking after me and my car, like when I was a kid! Thanks Alan!
