If you need a car fixed, go here! My service code was saying I needed to fix my catalitic converter, knock sensor and a seal leak. When Cody at the Millcreek location pulled my codes he told me I could pay to fix all those things for about $1,000, OR he offered to put in an engine cleaner for 35$ because it could make my catalitic converter work again. It worked! Any other shop would never have offered that and just told me I had to pay the 1K to fix everything. That is a sign of a good mechanic right there, he's not out for the money but was actually wanting to help fix my car. :)

The Best Auto shop! Clarkes repaired my Acura on a few occasions now and have been consistently fair, competent, and quality conscious. From the moment I walked in the customer service was excellent. Kyle and Justin have genuine concern for coming to a solution to any problem. The Auto Techs are clearly the same way...Abe worked on my car and I feel he treated it as if it was his own. Alan and the rest of the team there surely like what they do and the customers they do work for because that is the only way to explain their excellence. Ian Conly owner Danny's Jewelry SLC

These guys are the best…Although, I think that they undercharge on their oil changes. Ha ha, my only "complaint" Honest, green practices, super nice guys. Go to Clarks!!!

Great experience getting my oil changed at the new location in Millcreek today. As a mother, I hate trying to entertain my toddler while waiting for oil changes and car repairs. Nothing worse than going somewhere with a loud tv showing inappropriate shows and dirty floors that you are scared to let your child get down on. Clark's had a great bucket of wooden puzzle toys and trains and a stack of fun children's books. The floor was clean (as clean as the floors in my house, if not a little bit cleaner) and I had no problem letting her get down to put together the wooden puzzle on the floor. I had to do a diaper change and not only was the bathroom pretty and clean, but it had a diaper changing station. As for the oil change, it was fast, in the right price range, and his only recommendation was that I clean my battery terminals. He offered to take care of it, but I know how to do it and said that was ok. I think I found my new place for car maintenance.

This is a first rate auto shop. I brought my vehicle in because it was making some strange noises - some sort of rubbing. The guys drove it, got it up on the lift, figured out what was rubbing where, and solved the problem. Even better - they did it as a courtesy - no charge. Thanks!

New to SLC and without a mechanic. A friend referred me to Clark's after bad experiences with both Jiffy Lube and Pep Boys. They put in my tail lights free of charge so I could pass my safety inspection. I had been sold the wrong tail light by Pep Boys and they replaced it with one of their own; no charge!!! Definitely will go there for all future work!!

Honest and efficient. I work in the automotive industry and trust these guys with my own personal vehicle as well as my customers'. Alan and Justin are great. And to top it off, most of their shop's power comes from solar panels! Highly recommended.

The only place I will take my car anymore for three reasons: Honest, Fair prices, and they can get the job done quickly. They are just super nice and accommodating. Also, as a woman, I was happy to find a mechanic shop that doesn't treat me like an idiot or like I don't know or understand anything about cars. When I have several things that need to be done on my car they are willing to let me know what I can hold off on for a bit versus what is more urgent. Nice to be able to spread the cost out a little. Anyway, I just wanted to let the world know how much I love and appreciate my great mechanics at Clark's Auto!!!!!

I recently sold my Subaru and had taken this car to Clark's for years. Before I sold the car they did a comprehensive check to make sure everything was ok and then gave me a few recommendations for items that could be done. I used these recommendations as the foundation of the pricing for the car and then shared the summary of these items with the couple that purchased the car. Several months later, the couple had some questions about the car and we were able to work together with Clark's so that they could solve an unexplained issue they were having with the check engine light. They had taken the car to the Subaru dealership as well as several other mechanics and had spent a good amount of money and had not yet been able to figure out what the issue was. Within several hours Clark's had their answer and provided a very helpful overview and reasonable price for the fix for the car. Ultimately, I was worried that my credibility would have been on the line if my car had turned out to have a large issue. I am so grateful that I had taken my Subaru to Clark's for years and they were able to come through in a big way for the new owners of the car. The young man named Kyle that was working there at the desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and took a lot of time with us explaining everything. I couldn't recommend Clark's more highly! Please go here to this wonderful place!
