I love the way this shop does business. It is the first shop that I have ever visited that I do not feel swindled after I leave. I have saved money as compared with another shop every time I go.

We got in the truck to go on some Saturday errands and drove about 50 feet all tippy pulled over and discovered a flat tire. Clarks was just around the corner about another 90 feet and I thought they might be open or have some air . . . Nope. Then the owner pulled up and even though the shop was closed he fixed our tire for better than a fair price and we were on our way. We are so delighted and lucky to have a neighborhood mechanic with such excellent service and integrity so handy. I always recommend them.

Not only has Clark's Auto been my trusted mechanic while living in Salt Lake City, Alan of Clark's Auto generously provided me with advice on navigating the used car market. I recently relocated to Gloucester, MA and posted on Facebook asking for advice on car buying. Alan, without solicitation, posted his phone number to call him. We spoke at length and I now feel so much more confident in where to begin my car search. Sustainability is a high priority for me and Clark's Auto not only has very reliable and experienced mechanics but also has a large base of knowledge about hybrid, electrical and fuel efficient cars. This is a combination that isn't commonplace and I hope I can find someone similar to this here in the Boston, MA area. Thanks again!

Phenomenal and very trustworthy car mechanic! I was new to the city and was so impressed at how professional and personable they were while also explaining everything in depth and helping me get the most affordable option. I've never experienced an auto company this wonderful- I highly recommend them!

By far, the most honest and customer friendly mechanics/auto shop I've ever encountered! They handle their business very well and go above and beyond to put their customers first- giving you the most affordable option while also communicating everything very well. On a scale from 1-5 they're a solid 10!

Always Clark's for every and any car. When an out-of-state dealer garage breaks more than it fixes, Clark's will find what the dealer garage broke along the path of their "fix" and repair it all to better-than-new (03 Nissan Frontier, supercharged). When the new clutch they put in a year ago gets an upgrade, they refit the entire system with the upgrade under warranty (98 Subaru Impreza coupe). They also keep classic cars running safe and correct: 64.5 Mustang convertible 289d 4/4/2

The guys down at Clark's Auto at 500 East and 1700 South in SLC totally rock!. They're honest and super easy to deal with (they even offer a ride within the area if your vehicle has to spend the night) and you can trust them to do a very thorough and pro job on any repair. I've had them do all the repairs needed to keep my Subaru alive for the past few years, and I wouldn't consider anyone else along the Wasatch Front to do the work.

We are from out of town and needed an oil change. We read some frightening reviews about the local jiffy lubes here, so decided to go with Clark's instead. We were helped right away by the manager, Alan. He even gave us a great food/coffee suggestion, Alchemy's, which was superb. We were in and out in the quoted time, 45 minutes! I wish we could have stayed longer to chat more with Alan--really interesting guy! Also there were nice flowers surrounding the lot, which is not typical of a car place. Only thing I would suggest for improvement is to provide complimentary window washing. Would come back here hands down! Total: $38.86

Came here just for an oil change. Usually I go to Reliable Auto Mechanics in Sandy, but my boyfriend said we had to take care of this RIGHT NOW, so we came here. They were pretty fast a friendly. The shop was busy, and within 45 minutes they were done. We just went across the street and got lunch at Arctic Circle while we waited. The oil change, with tax, came out to about $35, so definitely cheaper than going to a Jiffy Lube, but better quality than most places offering a$20 oil change.
