BIGFOOT EXISTS!! I FOUND HIM AT CLARK AUTO!! Honestly I just found a couple of great honest guys. They are as rare as Bigfoot. I lined up a diagnosis for my recently graduated granddaughter's car. She barely knows how to put gas in the car and nothing about the mechanical needs of a car. A person would normally think that such a situation would be something like placing a chicken on a spit over a hot fire. The carcass would soon be picked clean. However NOT SO for these guys. They performed an outstanding diagnosis with various items identified along with the likely priority of the items which needed attention. The prices were resonable - well actually less expensive than others, but reasonable to me. We talked about the various issues - making decisions with a committee is always a challenge. They clearly identified options and characterized them prety much in the following context: ME: What would you do if this is your daughter and you want to be confident she can drive safely cross-country? THEM: An iteration of actions needed to make such a trip safely. US: Extreme satisfaction with their approach and prices. They earned not only my respect but my gratitude, loyalty, and future service. I am an elderly grandfather knowledgeable of mechanics and auto repair. The car I drive has over 230,000 miles on it. I happily endorse Clark's as a blast out of the past when you could trust your mechanic to properly repair your car without having to take out a second mortgage. They are interested in servicing their customers, not plucking and roasting them.

The gentlemen at Clark's Auto, Kyle and Shondell have always taken great care of my Subarus. They really know their way around this particular engine. They ran tests on the problem that my engine exhibited to make sure it was safe to change out the head gaskets, and then gave me the most reasonable price I could find, and I did shop around. When my engine was having more trouble, they took the time to take it apart, run more tests, thoroughly check out every inch of it, and resolved the issue in a way that was affordable. I am about to take in my recently purchased daughter's "clunker" to see what magic they can accomplish. They are very honest, they really could've taken advantage of me because I know NOTHING about cars, but they did not. I appreciate their calm professionalism, attention to detail, kindness and sense of humor! YAY CLARK'S AUTO!!!

Nothing like a car breakdown on a road trip to test a repair shop!

I walked in unannounced and Kyle greeted me with a very friendly introduction, got me in without an appointment same day, and over all the service and employees there are all rad. They worked with me regarding my oil since I usually do my own and I’m looking forward to going back and getting my car cared for. Their prices feel honest and fair as well, considering they only work on Subarus. TLDR; this place is a winner.

Clark’s auto is an incredible shop. I have a salvage title and the Subaru dealerships wouldn’t service my car because of that. Clark’s auto, on the other hand, did everything they could to get my car back into prime condition. They were honest in there recommendations and prices and didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need. When I turned down their recommended additional services there was no arguments and they wrote up a fantastic list of recommendations. They completed the work fast, clean, and professionally. And to top it all off they did it at a great price. Clark’s is going to be my go to shop in the SLC area for as long as I live here and anytime I visit in the future. The staff is also amazing and does a great job at explaining the problems with your vehicle and all the step and costs related to fixing the issue. Sean has been especially amazing, helping through any and all car troubles. If you have any problems with your Subaru, and are looking for fast, professional, fairly priced work, Clark’s is the place for you.

we bought our first subaru forester about a year ago and it has little issues here and there that we decided to tackle and repair with clarks auto that's literally 3 blocks from us. the work they have performed for us has been within budget and effectively all that was required based on their professional diagnosis. they have made suggestions for potential work the car may need. we also have been extremely happy and sincerely satisfied with the relationship we have built with a family run business that we are proud to support and spend our hard earned money with. we love our subaru forester and glad we decided to go with clarks for our maintenence and repairs. if it doesn't spark take it to clarks. 😉
